GENERAL INFORMATION

Peppy was the first colt I bought, I purchased him at about 10mths old & we went from there..

I broke him in when he was 1 & a half, his first ride was bareback around the yard.

I took him mustering from when he was 2 yrs onwards, then I took him to a job with me and he was hauled from Charters Towers to a lot of different drafts including Condamine, Chinchilla, Cambooya & Warwick. So he became a seasoned traveller quite early on.

His first foal was Precision, a Bay Tobiano colt out of Bobbys Girl. What a little beauty, he had the looks, conformation and temperament that Peppy possessed, which was exactly what I was after. Mission Acomplished!

In 2002 Peppy sired several foals including Peppys Gift, Peppys Valentina, Karaoke, Precision, Savy Lil Pep, Hombre' & Heza Pep(dec).

In 2005 he sired several foals again, including Quick Steppin Pep, Peppys Dazzla, Drippin In Rythym, Flamin Pep, Peppys Request, Gifted Pep & Revealin Pep. All these foals can be veiwed from the link below.

GENERAL INFORMATION

He's proven to be as versatile as he is well bred. Slide stops, spins and working cattle just comes naturally, being photogenic is just a bonus (: I think at times he's a bit of a show off. Peppy is my do "everything" horse, from mustering to showing, from running in the horses on him to being a coach horse for the newly broken in horses.

Im sure like most horses, he does things just to annoy me at times but I adore Peppy to bits...

After competing at the NBHA Finals at Caboolture in February 2010, Peppy became quite lame in the hindquarters. After what seemed like months (realistically it was only 2 months) some intense therapy and light rehabilitative exercises, we will be venturing out again... The first Rodeo in the plan is the Maranoa Charity Rodeo behing hosted by the QRA at Surat showgrounds... He has become rather "soft" during his off period, but we shall see how we go (:
